Role Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HSE Engineer to work on behalf of our client, a global offshore oil & gas design, engineering and construction company, to be based at their London offices.
The successful candidate will join a busy team supporting a new carbon capture and storage project.
Experience required:
• Subcontractor Management
• IMCA and IOGP
• Micro-tunnelling
• Offshore Rigid Pipelay
Duties/Tasks to include:
• HSE Policy Implementation: Ensure the implementation of the company’s HSE policies and procedures on the offshore project.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
• HSE Training: Deliver HSE training to the project team and contractors to ensure understanding and compliance with HSE standards.
• Incident Reporting: Ensure all HSE incidents are reported in a timely manner and investigated to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with applicable HSE regulations and standards.
• Emergency Response: Participate in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and procedures.
• HSE Performance Monitoring: Monitor HSE performance metrics and report findings to the HSE Manager.
• Contractor Management: Monitor the HSE performance of contractors and provide them with necessary support and guidance.
• HSE Audits: Conduct regular HSE audits to assess compliance with HSE policies and standards.
• HSE Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE documentation, including risk assessments, incident reports, and training records.
• HSE Communication: Communicate HSE information effectively to the project team and contractors.
• HSE Meetings: Facilitate HSE meetings and contribute to the discussion of HSE issues and improvement initiatives.
• HSE Culture Promotion: Promote a positive HSE culture within the project team and contractors.
• HSE Improvement Initiatives: Participate in the development and implementation of HSE improvement initiatives.
• Comply and carry out all other tasks as per instructed by the Project HSE Manager
