Role Description

Experienced Project Control Manager required for an ongoing contract role, to work on behalf of our client, a leading offshore oil & gas engineering, installation & construction contractor, based out of their London offices.  

The successful candidate will join our client to work on a new North Sea pipeline project. 

Job Description: 

• Establishes and directs all necessary systems for monitoring and controlling the status of the Project at all locations, including cost analysis, scheduling and contract administration.

• Implements Project controls procedures for planning and scheduling, reporting, cost control, invoicing, risk and opportunities analysis, and contract administration. 

• Organise and maintain the best integration between Scheduling, Cost control and Risk Management Functions ensuring that any activity is carefully planned and controlled in terms of time, budget and scope of work

• Be responsible for the Document Control System setup and coordinate the implementation of all information and application systems required

• Supervises interfaces with other groups (Engineering, Installation and Administrations). 

• During the execution Phase maintains the Project Control System, Coordinates risk analysis, ensures the Project Status is fully assesed and updated with regards to the Baseline and Control Budget. Ensures schedule and cost forecast are consistent and regularly reviewed reflecting the most updated information and current trends.  

• Prepares all control and monitoring documents enabling the Project Manager to take decisions regarding strategies under their responsibilities.

• Establishes Reports as per contract requirements are ensures they are regularly updated, makes sure invoicing to the Client is up to date and all supporting documents in place

• Assisting project manager and contract administrator during contract changes/claims process

• Coordinate Project Control Team Members  

Qualifications:

• Experience in EPIC/EPCI Contracts

• Knowledge of P6 and SAP 

• Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential. 

Job Details:

Location: London - minimum of 3 days per week office based (2 days remote working is possible)

Start date: ASAP
