Role Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Logistics Supervisor to work on behalf of our client, a global oil & gas specialist on a FEED project. This is an initial 9 month contract role with an immediate start date, and will be based at our client's offices in Surrey (some degree of hybrid/remote working is possible).
Candidates should have at least 5 years experience in executing projects.
Job Description:
As a Logistics Specialist you should;
• Develop project logistics strategy
• Coordinate with Suppliers and Freight Forwarder to obtain transportation recommendations and strategies.
• Work with Project team and FF to ensure all Import and export requirements are understood and applied.
• Customs Clearance registers are accurate and include all project shipments and current status.
• Coordinate with Project Expeditors to develop and issue IPMS MMT shipment packages.
• Review and manage all Suppliers MMT Shipping Documentation to resolve errors and discrepancies.
• Work with the appointed Freight Forwarder to track all MMT shipments are aligned with FF system and IPMS.
• Support Construction Sites by providing reports and delivery updates at package level.
• Visit suppliers and project site if and when required
• Have experience in working within approved Project Plans and Procedures using our client's IPMS system.
• Coordinate with all Engineering Disciplines to manage and compile Project Tags and Catalogue Data.
• Work within the PSR framework to develop IPMS RFQ Enquiry and Purchase Requisition Packages.
• Support the Project with the development & coordination of IPMS Construction Work Pack Management.
• Support The Project PSR and ESR reporting.
• Coordinate with all Construction sites to record manage all deliveries including MRR’s, OS&D’s reporting.

Rate: £55.00 p/h
Location: Surrey - however 2 days p/w remote working may be possible.
