Role Description

Lead Offshore Installation Engineer (Methods / Pipeline Landfall)

We’re supporting a major Carbon Capture & Net Zero project and are looking for experienced Lead Offshore Installation Engineers to take ownership of installation methods and engineering coordination, with a strong focus on pipeline landfall activities.

This is a key leadership role where you’ll bridge onshore engineering and offshore execution, ensuring safe, efficient, and technically sound delivery.

The Role:

  • Lead and coordinate installation methods engineering activities across the project
  • Manage team workload, priorities, and technical output
  • Review and validate engineering deliverables, calculations, and procedures
  • Oversee implementation of installation methodologies in line with design specifications
  • Act as technical interface with the client and attend key meetings
  • Support offshore operations, including vessel-based activities and technical advisory
  • Ensure all installation documentation, reports, and records are completed and compliant
  • Participate in critical offshore operations and capture lessons learned
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure standards and requirements are met

Experience:

  • Proven experience in offshore installation / construction engineering
  • Strong background in pipeline installation and landfall (shore approach / shore pull), and Above Water Tie-In (AWTI) activities
  • Experience working in Energy, Oil & Gas, or related sectors
  • Previous leadership or senior-level responsibility within engineering teams
  • Comfortable working across onshore and offshore environments

Requirements:

  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Valid OEUK Medical

6–9 month contract

Start date: ASAP

Rate: Negotiable, Outside IR35

Location: London (SW)

Hours: Full time - 37.5 hrs p/w.
